Mosquito net is good to have. It will  protect you agaisnt flies in the desert.

On very hot days, you take a break of several hours during the hottest time of the day (11 a.m. to 3 p.m. or so).

Use your hiking poles and the mosquito net to arrange a shelter agaisnt flies, they are quite annoying when you try to rest.
